Welcome to Riptides Signing Days!

Riptides Signing Days are Monday (August 16) and Tuesday (August 17). Signing Days is our annual event that kicks off registration for the new season of year-round swim team (September-August). This year the event will be 2 nights so that we can spread out the participants and create a more comfortable atmosphere for communication. Both days will feature the same schedule and information beginning at 6:00 PM. This includes:

- 2021-2022 Riptides Season Preview Presentation (Swimmers and Parents)

- Swim Try-Outs for practice group placement (New Swimmers)

- Town Hall with Coach Catherine (Parents and returning swimmers)

- Maybe a few surprises...

Signing Days will include great information for new and returning families. The season preview presentation should last about 20-30 minutes. After that, new swimmers will be sent to the pool deck for try-outs and the Town Hall will begin. This will be an open discussion and your opportunity to ask questions. If a swimmer is not quite ready for the team, our staff will recommend what class to start within our curriculum to prepare them for the team. New swimmers join the team throughout the year, so rest assured we will provide you with a road map to get to Riptides.
